#3.) The Undertaker narrowly avoids the end of the streak
It was WrestleMania 28 and The Undertaker and Triple H were set to put a halt to their rivalry for good. This time, it was going to end inside Hell In A Cell. Now, Undertaker may just be the greatest performer in the history of the Hell In A Cell, with 14 appearances and 9 victories. Triple H is a close second with 9 appearances and 6 wins.
The match was heated and intense with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee. His history with the two added even more drama to the mix. At the peak of the match, Michaels hit the Undertaker with a Sweet Chin Music and Triple H nailed him with a pedigree. It seemed for certain that it was going to be the moment the streak ended. But it wasn’t to be.
The Phenom kicked out in a heart-stopping moment that made over 70,000 people in attendance erupt with joy. No one expected him to kick out, but he did. The pure emotion of the match and that moment makes it an iconic one. Undertaker would go on to be victorious in the match.
