#5.) The Cell closes in on Sasha Banks & Charlotte Flair

It was 2016 and the women were all set to main event a WWE PPV for the first time ever. Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks were in the midst of WWE’s hottest rivalry at the time, so it was only fitting that they would continue their battles inside the steel structure. After much hesitation, Mick Foley granted them the opportunity to battle inside the cell and after much anticipation, it was revealed that the women were indeed main eventing the PPV.

It was a historic moment for WWE and the women’s division in two firsts in a night. It was undoubtedly the most anticipated match-up of the night and Banks and Charlotte delivered in a big way, with Sasha Banks defending her RAW Women’s Championship in her hometown of Boston. Charlotte would emerge victorious, but when the two stood face-to-face and the cell was lowering, everyone knew that it was something very special.
