Becky Lynch vs Mickie James was a brief but rather underrated feud. Mickie James’ much-anticipated return to WWE took place when she was revealed to be ‘La Luchadora’, the masked vigilante who was a thorn in Becky Lynch’s side for weeks. She would cost Becky an opportunity at the SmackDown Women’s title in the first-ever women’s steel cage match, making a huge mark upon her return.
Becky Lynch was then instantly pitted into a feud with the veteran and their first encounter would be at Elimination Chamber, where Becky Lynch won by the skin of their teeth. They would have a 2-out-of-3 falls match not long after on SmackDown Live, with Lynch once again being victorious.
