#4.) Shane McMahon – WrestleMania XV
WrestleMania XV is mainly remembered for its colossal main event, the first in a WrestleMania trilogy between The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. While the rest of the card itself was quite underwhelming, one match that stood out was the European Championship bout between Shane McMahon and X-Pac.
Shane McMahon always felt the need to prove that he was “one of the boys” and his match against X-Pac did exactly that. This was much before his famous coast-to-coast spot or all the other crazy antics that he would be known for. Although it was typical of the Attitude Era to have interference from others, X-Pac played a great babyface going up against the odds. Triple H turned on him in a shock move to help Shane McMahon retain the European title.
