#3.) The Mega Powers implode

On October 13th, 1987, Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan shook hands, officially forming the Mega Powers. They would help each other, with their biggest triumph happening at WrestleMania IV, with Hogan helping Savage win the WWE Championship. Over the course of the year, the two would see a lot of success. But with the success, they would also clash heads and Savage would slowly lose his patience with Hogan.

Jealousy, anger and greed were few of the emotions that started to rise in savage. He accused Hogan of lusting for Elizabeth and stealing his fire. Although Savage was portrayed as the villain, his feelings weren’t unjustified. Either way, after a long build-up and slow burn, Savage attacked Hogan, setting up an epic WrestleMania main event.

Savage attacking Hogan from behind marked the peak of an outstanding storyline, one that remains one of the greatest in the history of the company.
