#5.) The Ultimate Warrior
The Ultimate Warrior may have have been the best in-ring technician, but he was a larger than life character who gained immense popularity and was the chosen successor to Hulk Hogan. Randy Savage and Sensational Sherri cost Warrior the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble 1991 against Sgt. Slaughter, the most hated man in the pro wrestling business at the time.
Warrior and Savage would clash in a dream match at WrestleMania and the feud got so heated that Savage even had to put his career on the line. Warrior was ultimately successful in ending Savage’s career (for the time being) and the post-match angle saw Sherri attack a dejected Savage, leading Miss Elizabeth to save him and thus reuniting the power couple.
