Mankind and The Rock had more chemistry than they had any right to have. Every superstar has rivals that make each other’s careers, and The Rock and Mankind certainly did that to each other. As rivals, they took it to a whole new level in terms of brutality and fantastic matches. They had match of the year candidates together, but many fans loved to see them more as allies with The Rock n’ Sock connection.
It’s interesting to think how their careers would have turned out had it not been for each other. The Rock and Mick Foley were almost like wrestling soulmates in the ring.
