#4.) Kurt Angle
There aren’t many opponents that had The Rock’s number, but Kurt Angle seemed to be one of them. Angle faced and defeated The Rock for the WWE title in his debut year. He would later lose it to him months later right before WrestleMania X7. The two had a heated rivalry through the Attitude Era and they would even clash heads much later in a WWE title feud that involved The Undertaker as well.
Angle and The Rock had a natural chemistry and it was The Rock who gave Angle some of the best matches of his early WWE career.
