In an outstanding segment of Talking Smack, Daniel Bryan called The Miz a coward and told him that he has a lazy style of wrestling. This flipped a switch in The Miz who went on a rampage, tearing Daniel Bryan a new one. He justifiably explained himself in a fit of rage and even got Bryan to walk out.
The pure emotion and realness of the moment drew a lot of attention from the fans and was perhaps the peak of The Miz’s popularity in 2016. It was at this moment that he truly proved that he was a main event player to be reckoned with.
