#3.) Getting cheered at WrestleMania 33 – 2017
While it may surprise many of you that this makes the list, here’s why. In around 13 years of his career, there was rarely ever any crowd that was behind The Miz. That was a credit to his masterclass work as a heel, getting any crowd to hate him with a snap of a finger.
At WrestleMania 33, The Miz and Maryse were feuding with John Cena and Nikki Bella. While many dreaded the idea of the feud, once the build got going, fans started getting more interested after seeing the heated promo battles between the two couples. Things were as real as they could get and at the grandest stage of them all, The Miz experienced a crowd completely behind him for the first time in his career.
The Miz himself stated in an interview that it was the first time he ever had a crowd so behind him. He took his time, soaked it all in and hyped the crowd up as much as possible. It was quite a surreal moment and truly one that will go in the books for him in the incredible character arc that he’s had throughout his career.
