#1.) Childhood disconnect with Ric Flair and training
Although they enjoy a very close relationship today, Charlotte didn’t get to spend much time with Ric Flair during her childhood. When she grew up, Ric Flair was in the prime of his career, raking up world title after world title and becoming a bigger star by the day. Pro Wrestling schedules for superstars often prevent them from being able to spend time with their families, and this affected the Flairs too.
As for her training, Ric Flair surprisingly didn’t have much to do with it. Ric Flair left Charlotte in the trust of Performance Center trainer Sara Amato. He believed that wrestling is something that everyone needs to learn on their own. This also helped Charlotte branch away from her father and create her own legacy, something which she continues to do successfully to date.
