Alexa Bliss has come a long way since her days in NXT. Back in the developmental brand, she started off as a good, Disney princess-type character and didn’t have much going for her. This was in the early days, however. She would then form an alliance with Blake & Murphy, helping them capture and retain their NXT Tag Team Championships.
As a singles star in the developmental brand, she competed for the NXT Women’s Championship unsuccessfully. While she wasn’t the featured star as compared to the four horsewomen, she was main roster ready, and she was called up to SmackDown Live during the 2016 draft.
From then onwards, Alexa Bliss’ career trajectory would shoot up and she would become an instant hit on the main roster. After a jump to RAW during the first Superstar Shake-Up, The Goddess Of WWE would see increased success, becoming the most dominant women’s champion in the brand’s history. While she’s known more for her character work than her in-ring skills, she’s had some very impressive matches, out of which these five stand out.
