After Daniel Bryan had gotten injured just two months after his historic WrestleMania 30 World title win, Stephanie McMahon gave Bryan an ultimatum: To relinquish the title or his wife Brie Bella would be fired. Brie chose to quit to save Bryan, but when he ended up relinquishing the titles, things got heated between Brie and Stephanie McMahon.
The heated feud got persona really fast and at SummerSlam 2014, the two had unexpectedly good chemistry. Unfortunately for Brie, it would be Stephanie who got the upper hand and the victory after her sister Nikki Bella turned on her.
