Despite all the accolades in Brock Lesnar’s career, perhaps his biggest achievement and crowning moment was ending The Undertaker’s mythical WrestleMania streak. Undertaker was 21-0 heading into WrestleMania 30 and with the build being rather underwhelming, it was assumed by many fans that The Phenom would win, with Lesnar being just another notch in his list of defeated opponents on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.
After Lesnar pinned Undertaker, over 75,000 people stood up in shock and disbelief. It wasn’t until the big screen showed 21-1 that fans realized that it was for real. Whether you agree or disagree with the decision, the effect and reaction that it had simply can’t be denied.
Following the shocking end of the streak, Lesnar would go on to tear every superstar in his path, eventually squashing John Cena in shocking fashion just four months later to capture the WWE Championship.
