#1.) Winning the tag titles at SummerSlam 1990
Perhaps the peak of the original Hart Foundation and Neidhart’s career came during SummerSlam 1990. Being the heavy underdogs against Demolition, the two had to deal with the most dominant tag team in the world. The crowd was audibly on the side of the underdog Hart Foundation. While Demolition would attempt to try and use all sorts of nefarious tactics to retain the titles, it was the Legion Of Doom who would be the difference makers.
The epic two-out-of-three falls match saw Demolition pick up the first fall before being disqualified and evening things out. With the Legion of Doom’s assist, The Hart Foundation were able to take advantage and pin the dominant champions in one of the most feel-good moments in SummerSlam history.
