This was the period of the New Hart Foundation where they were booed for being Anti-American in the United States but they were heavily cheered outside the country. This would mark the second of two PPVs that Jim Neidhart would headline.
As it was held in Calgary, The Hart’s hometown, they were naturally cheered heavy despite being the heels. The other “babyface” team were booed quite heavily and it was the New Hart Foundation that was rightfully victorious.
