It was June 24th, 2002 and WWE and it was one year removed from the Attitude Era. It was a transitionary period that was mostly marked by the Invasion storyline in WWE. However, 2002 saw the debuts of a whole new crop of talent.

It was around this time that Vince McMahon cut a promo on RAW with the ring surrounded by superstars. He stated that he took out WCW thanks to Ruthless Aggression and it was this Ruthless Aggression that he needed from the superstars to reach for the sky.

It was around April to June of that year that superstars such as Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Batista and John Cena had debuted. The period also saw superstars such as Bradshaw and Eddie Guerrero among others step up to the plate as well. It would mark the beginning of an incredible era for WWE.
