Hogan had been back for about a year and when he returned after a hiatus, Vince McMahon tried to disrupt it. Hogan attacked him and they would eventually set up a feud for WrestleMania XIX which got deeply personal and real, where McMahon expressed his disgust at Hogan for leaving to WCW in the 90s and more.
They would go at it in a street fight with Hogan’s career on the line. After a 20-minute classic, Hogan would beat McMahon.
