In late 2000, Triple H and Kurt Angle were involved a storyline that also had Stephanie McMahon, making it a love triangle. The feud was one of Angle’s first high profile feuds in WWE.
The feud was nothing short of intense and dramatic, with it culminating at Unforgiven, where Triple H won. Despite losing the feud, Angle would go on to challenge for the WWE Championship soon after, capturing it with the first twelve months of his main roster debut.
