AJ Styles could be argued as one of Kurt Angle’s greatest opponents ever. After a classic bout where Styles beat Angle at Slammiversary in 2008, they had a rematch in Hard Justice that very year. They would go on to have a Last Man Standing match which was the stuff of legends.
Despite the fact that AJ Styles somehow found himself in the middle of Kurt and Karen Angle’s divorce storyline, he delivered and more, while Angle put one of the greatest performances in his career. This was one of the many matches that made AJ Styles the star that he is today.
