During the McMahon-Helmsley days in the 2000-2001 period, Kurt Angle was involved in a love triangle storyline between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Although it was just Kurt Angle’s first year, it was quite surprising to see him involved in such a high-profile feud.
Their paths even intertwined with The Rock at SummerSlam, where the WW(E)F Championship was on the line in a Triple Threat match. Though The Rock did retain, Angle and HHH’s feud would continue on, culminating at Unforgiven, where Triple H won thanks to Stephanie McMahon.
The two would only cross paths again face-to-face over a decade later when Kurt Angle teamed up with Ronda Rousey to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.
