#5.) End of an Era embrace

Triple H vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28 was set to be the conclusion of their rivalry. Already their third match at WrestleMania, it was established in the build that it would be the “End of an Era”, as Triple H and The Undertaker were the last two superstars of their generation still performing.

The match had everything you’d want in a marquee WrestleMania bout: heart-stopping moments, drama at its highest and a passionate crowd. With Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee, it almost served the end of Undertaker’s mythical streak.  The Phenom, however, did prevail and in the final shot, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels helped Triple H to the back, embracing one last time in an iconic moment before walking away.

Although both superstars would continue to wrestle occasionally, it was symbolic that it was a time gone by and the start to transition a different generation.
