#2.) Only superstar to hold the WWE and US title together

Rollins did the unthinkable when he toppled John Cena at SummerSlam in a title-for-title match. Heading into the match,  Rollins was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Cena was the United States Champion, defending his title without fail week in and week out. Rollins stepped to the forefront and challenged him on RAW in a match that saw Rollins accidentally disfigure Cena’s nose.

Despite this, Cena won the match and Rollins threw out a title-for-title challenge at SummerSlam. In the marquee match, Rollins defeated Cena thanks to the help of Jon Stewart and denied the franchise player his 16th world title. Instead, he made history by becoming the first superstar to ever simultaneously hold the WWE Championship and the United States Championship.

His run as double champion wouldn’t last long, however. The following month at Night Of Champions, Rollins defended the titles individually in back-to-back matches, losing the US title back to Cena but retaining the WWE title against Sting, who suffered a career-ending injury during the bout.
