It’s hard to top the #1 draft pick of 2005 – John Cena. Cena brought the WWE title back to RAW after 3 years, sending Batista and the World Heavyweight Championship to SmackDown in the process. The move to RAW truly cemented John Cena as the franchise player of WWE and he wouldn’t change brands (minus a few hours in 2009) until 2016.
He reached new heights and took the company to new heights as well. It was truly and undoubtedly the greatest overall first pick in WWE draft history.
