2002’s brand split saw the beloved tag team APA go their separate ways. This was actually one situation where there didn’t need to be a match to have a payoff. Their last stand together was simply on an episode of RAW where they were playing cards, drinking beer and reminiscing over the good old days.
Their segment rightfully ended with a bar brawl, where the two stood tall and flipped over the sign on a door saying “Sorry, we’re closed”. They did reunite briefly later on, but this was truly the perfect ending to a great team.
