Perhaps the best “odd pairing” storyline in recent years, Cesaro and Sheamus’ storyline would lead them to win multiple tag team titles. It all started off with two midcarders feuding and Mick Foley putting them up against each other in a Best of 7 series, with the winner earning a guaranteed title opportunity.
The series ended in a draw and they were both given a tag team title opportunity. They would proceed to be an odd-pair team for a while, but as the months went by, they eventually became a singular unit. It was an incredible transformation for an incredible 3-year run.
