#4.) The Ultimate circumstances

The 1996 King of The Ring had a very unforgettable appearance from The Ultimate Warrior. It’s a shame because he was a star attraction but nothing that he did on this show is remembered. Understandably so since he worked a match against Jerry Lawler that lasted all but four minutes.

It wasn’t a flattering contest either and it was later revealed that he had worked the match with a shoulder injury. Unfortunately, that meant that his already-limited arsenal would become even more limited. He ended up no-selling a piledriver and finished Lawler with a series of clotheslines – relative ease for the legend.

However, it also turned out to be Warrior’s last-ever WWF PPV match. He reportedly no-showed a bunch of events because of the death of his father, but Vince McMahon refused to buy it as an excuse, stating that Warrior had never been close to his father anyway, having not seen him for around a decade.
