#1.) vs. Ricky Steamboat – COTC VI
Perhaps the most legendary trilogy and even rivalry of Ric Flair’s career was against none other than Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. There were few who could bring out of Flair what Steamboat did and their trilogy is still fondly spoken about till this date. It was a 2-out-of-3 falls match and from the moment the bell rang, the intensity could be felt around the arena.
The two would take each other to their very limits, with Flair getting the first fall and Steamboat making a big comeback and getting the next two. Though the finish was marred by controversy (due to Flair’s legs being under the rope for the last fall), it was an incredible match and gave Steamboat his win back – allowing them to conclude their epic rivalry with one last match.
