Five Wrestlers That Didn’t Have As Much Success With Paul Heyman As An ‘Advocate’

#1.) The Undertaker

This one is a rather interesting story. The Undertaker began his journey in wrestling in 1984, where he went by the name Texas Red. In 1989, he was brought over to WCW and had the ring name “Mean” Mark Callous. A year after, he was paired with Paul Heyman and they enjoyed a decent amount of success, where he began rising to title contention.

It was around this time that Heyman told WWF of a bright, young prospect. WCW later chose not to renew Callaway’s contract and their loss turned out to be one of the biggest gains in WWE history.
