#2.) ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin

This one may be viewed as unjust in the eyes of many because Austin did share success with Heyman and Heyman is largely responsible for Austin’s success later on. When Austin was with WCW, he was ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin and joined an alliance with ‘Ravishing’ Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, Madusa, etc. and their faction was dubbed as “The Dangerous Alliance”.

They feuded with main event stars and Heyman remained with them until he decided to focus on NWA’s “Eastern Championship Wrestling”. Austin stayed with WCW until he jumped ship to ECW with Heyman. He would refine his character-work before jumping ship to WWF. The rest, as they say, is history.
