Perhaps the most glorified commentary call in WWE history is from King of the Ring 1998, where Mankind had fallen off the Hell in a Cell on two occasions in one match. Nobody had seen anything like it and it was a huge spectacle. Foley fell through the table and through the top of the cell, crashing down hard on the mat.
The Undertaker stated that he thought he had killed Foley, but luckily, Foley didn’t suffer as serious an injury as first thought. Either way, the commentary made the match what it was and the moment as glorified as it is today.
