It’s hard to argue against the case of Bret Hart being “Mr. SummerSlam”. He participated in the very first event and his first 3 apperances at the PPV was as a part of The Hart Foundation with the late, great Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Apart from his tag team success, he competed against an elite row of competitors, including Mr. Perfect, The British Bulldog, Owen Hart and The Undertaker. He has been a part of SummerSlam’s most iconic moments and matches and is perhaps the greatest performer in SummerSlam history.
