WWE SummerSlam’s Most Underrated Matches

SummerSlam is WWE’s second-biggest PPV of the year, which means that the company always has to go out of their way to make sure the show is a big blockbuster every year. It doesn’t always work out that way, but more often than not, we’re treated to some incredible matches and moments at SummerSlam.

We remember several classics from the event, such as AJ Styles vs John Cena, Brock Lesnar vs The Rock, Bret Hart vs The British Bulldog, Steve Austin vs The Undertaker and a lot more. However, there have been several matches in the event that were actually really good, but for some reason or the other, failed to capture the imagination or acclaim of audiences and critics.

These are matches that were low-key great but were never fully given the appreciation that they deserved. Here are the five most underrated SummerSlam matches.
