Brock Lesnar would face one of his toughest challenges to date when he had to take on three other competitors in defense of the Universal Championship. This chaotic 2017 main event saw a classic Fatal-4-Way match, with Braun Strowman being the clear star of the match. The entire idea of the match was to establish Braun Strowman as a threat and for the first time in years, Lesnar didn’t look as dominant.
Strowman would flip tables over on Lesnar, causing him to be stretchered out. However, he bravely returned and managed to overcome the odds, pinning Roman Reigns instead to retain the Universal title.
