#1.) Kurt Angle & AJ Styles win the Tag Team titles – Slammiversary 10
A year before they would face off again, Kurt Angle and AJ Styles would take on Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) for the TNA Tag Team titles. It all stemmed about because Daniels wanted to “expose” Styles for having an “affair” with Dixie Carter, something that Styles denied.
When Daniels and Kazarian made Styles’ life hell, it was Kurt Angle who came to his old rival’s rescue. It led to them teaming up and challenging for the titles in what was easily the greatest match in Slammiversary history. In an absolute thriller, Angle and Styles would join forces and take out the champions in a big way, getting a feel-good title win. It was the perfect co-main event and could have gone longer.
