#3.) Aleister Black vs Adam Cole – NXT Takeover: Philadelphia
The only addition from NXT, this match also remains the only Extreme Rules match in NXT history. When a crowd chants “This is awesome” before the bell even rings, then you know you’re in for something special. Black was red-hot as a babyface and Adam Cole was finding his stride in NXT.
He was still a year and more away from peaking in the yellow brand, but he still put on an incredible effort and took a shocking amount of punishment during the match. At one point, it even seemed as though he wanted his spine to snap in half. Either way, even interference from The Undisputed Era wouldn’t be enough to stop Aleister Black as he put Cole away.
