It’s debatable, but in our view, there has been no greater performer in Slammiversary history than The Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. Angle spent a longer time in Impact Wrestling than he did during his first WWE run and that is still a fact that surprises many. Those who followed him during his TNA days know that he really developed as a performer and took it to a whole new level.
While he had several great matches with the company, he seemed to take it to a whole other level when performing at Slammiversary. Though he never had the title, he may as well have been called “Mr. Slammiversary” for constantly being the highlight of the show, whichever match he was a part of.
