#5.) Diesel – WrestleMania 12

It should be noted that by 1996, the “streak” was more or less just beginning and WWE didn’t even realize that there was one in the first place. The original plan of this match was reportedly to have Mankind debut and cost The Undertaker the match, while Diesel would receive a title shot at the next PPV.

However, you can thank Eric Bischoff for this not happening. he lured Kevin Nash away with a lucrative WCW contract. So plans changed and The Undertaker defeated Diesel, with Mankind attacking The Phenom the following night on RAW. While Diesel did receive a WWF title shot against Shawn Michaels the next month anyway, he put over his fellow Kliq member before jumping ship to WCW with Scott Hall.
