In a ladder match war for the Intercontinental Championship and The Rock was a few months away from reaching the mountain top while Triple H was still a year away. Either way, it represented the perfect transition of getting the belt out of The Rock while moving him up to main event status full-time.
Mark Henry accompanied The Rock while Chyna accompanied Triple H. In one of the all-time great ladder matches, the two rivals would prove why they had such incredible chemistry together, stealing the show and having MSG on their feet. Ultimately, it was a low blow from Chyna that allowed Triple H to pick up the title and become Intercontinental Champion.
