#1.) Goldberg‘s world title win at the Atlanta
It should be noted that this list is ordered in terms of the timeline of events rather than which moment was bigger. The last of this list comes from an episode of Nitro in Atlanta inside the Georgia Dome. The setting was almost perfect. Goldberg had seen a quick rise to the top, accumulating an incredible streak and a United States title while he was at it.
Undefeated, a clash with World champion Hulk Hogan seemed inevitable. While the match would obviously have made more money on PPV, Eric Bischoff decided to make a statement and have the match on the main event of Nitro. In front of Goldberg’s hometown crowd of Atlanta, he defeated Hulk Hogan in a matter of minutes to cement his rise to the top.
The moment saw WCW absolutely decimate WWF in the ratings and surprisingly, it would turn out to be the only World title reign in his WCW career.
