#2.) Sting‘s rivalry with nWo
This isn’t one specific moment like the others, but rather, a collective period of time. While the nWo were the cool bad guys, Sting’s rise only proved that fans always wanted to see a protagonist. Refusing to join the rebellious faction, Sting found himself at great odds but found many different ways to combat multiple people at one time.
From jumping down helicopters and rafters, Sting’s new “Crow” inspired persona made him an even bigger star than before. It was the ultimate WCW rivalry and basically cemented the fact that he was the face of the franchise. It was a defining rivalry in the war.
