#3.) Elimination Chamber World Heavyweight Championship match
The Undertaker managed to defeat Rey Mysterio at Royal Rumble, successfully defending his World title. His next major challenge was an Elimination Chamber match featuring the likes of Chris Jericho, Mysterio, CM Punk and more. With Shawn Michaels’ WrestleMania challenge rejected, The Undertaker looked ahead to the Chamber, not realizing what was coming.
For one, his entrance saw a botched pyro disaster, where his coat caught fire during the entrance and parts of his hand were even burned. After being cleared by the doctor, The Undertaker went on to wrestle anyway, constantly pouring cold water over his hands to ease the burning sensation.
He came close to retaining the title, with Chris Jericho as the final man at his mercy. However, an angry Shawn Michaels came out of the bottom of the Chamber and superkicked The Undertaker, allowing Jericho to win the World Championship. It would set up Michaels’ retirement match at WrestleMania.
