You might be surprised to see that Triple H is on this list so much. But in reality, it’s not that surprising considering that 2000 was easily Triple H’s best year in terms of in-ring performances. Many argue that it was his greatest year, period. The match with Jericho took place at Fully Loaded, a PPV that many consider among the best of all time.
Coming off their feud on RAW where Chris Jericho controversially won the WWE title before it was reversed, it led to an epic clash at Fully Loaded – in a match that their WrestleMania X8 encounter should have been. Jericho did a great job as the babyface selling his rib injury while Triple H relentlessly attacked him.
The match would turn into an all-out war before Triple H finally walked out as the victor.
