WWE had quite an incredible year in 2000. Sure, it had one of the worst WrestleMania’s of all time, but that aside, the overall year was nothing short of fantastic. Many believe that 2000 was the greatest year of the Attitude Era and it’s really hard to argue. Believe it or not, Triple H features in the majority of the list because of how much of a central figure he was at the time.
The Attitude era was marked by the unrelenting chaos that happened on a week-to-week basis. It all peaked at 2000 before the era came to a close at WrestleMania X7 in 2001. Either way, the turning of the millenium proved to be a pivotal point for WWE, as a whole flurry of new stars began to step up to the plate. We got to see the debuts and rise of many different legends at this period of time.
Though the year had several great matches, we managed to narrow it down to just five of the very best!
