It’s hard to think of more champions defined by ladders. When Shawn Michaels vacated the Intercontinental Championship in 1993, it was Razor Ramon who stepped up to the plate and won the title for the first time. That reign would be defined by WWE’s first-ever ladder match at WrestleMania X, where Razor Ramon fought to prove that he was the true Intercontinental Champion against Shawn Michaels.
Between September 1993 and January 1996, Ramon would have four reigns as champion, proving to be the gold standard for the belt.
