#2.) The Miz
The Miz is the only superstar on this list from the modern era. It’s an interesting case because The Miz from 2010-2011 is not anywhere close to The Miz now. Today, if The Miz won the WWE Championship, fans would not only be accepting of it, but they would fully acknowledge that he deserved to win it.
That’s just how much he has grown as a performer. But in 2010, it was different. He won the Money in the Bank briefcase and then the WWE Championship, but he wasn’t drawing any new eyes to the product. If anything, it was the opposite effect and fans had no desire to see The Miz as WWE champion.
Even though he main evented WrestleMania 27, it was evident that he was just the third fiddle, playing the role of someone in between The Rock and John Cena. That was surprisingly a low point as well and that turned out to be his sole WWE Championship reign. Hopefully, his future sees him win atleast one more World title.
