What can we say about “Rowdy” Roddy Piper that hasn’t been said before? Simply put, he was the single greatest talker of his era and there was nobody like him. He was a very special character, in that when he was a heel, he was hated beyond belief and when he was a babyface, fans were completely behind him.
He’s what you call a timeless wrestler and there were few on the mic who were greater than he was. The “Piper’s pit” segments were unforgettable and has stood the test of time.
