Many argue that this is the single greatest gimmick change in not just WWE history, but wrestling history. It’s hard to dispute that, especially given the difference in impact. Glen Jacobs had to go through the trial and error process as well, having two failed gimmicks in Dr. Isaac Yankem as well as Fake Diesel.
Ultimately, he was destined for greater things and at Badd Blood 1997, he would make what many consider the greatest debut in WWE history. His run would be a thing of legends and he would be one of the top featured superstars in the Attitude Era, eventually going on to become one of the longest-tenured superstars in WWE history.
