#2.) AJ Styles vs John Cena – MITB 2016
The Phenomenal AJ Styles had shockingly turned heel when John Cena had returned mid-2016. Despite an unsuccessful effort at the WWE Championship, he would immediately go after the former face of the franchise. He chose a good superstar to make his name off of and again, it was a match that could even headline WrestleMania.
The dream match came to be at MITB 2016 and the story told was brilliant. Styles wrestled circles around Cena, but he got too cocky during many moments in the match. It was Gallows & Anderson who helped Styles pick up the win. Incredibly enough, they would top this match just two months later, where Styles won clean as a whistle.
