#3.) Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins – MITB 2016
Roman Reigns had completed two months as WWE Champion and given that he won it at WrestleMania 32, the assumption was that he would hold on to it for another half a year at the very least. After finishing an impressive feud with AJ Styles, Seth Rollins returned from an extended half-year long hiatus, immediately thrusting himself back in the WWE title picture.
To get back the title he never lost, he needed to go through Roman Reigns, who he had no shortage of history with. It was a main event that could have even headlined WrestleMania, and it really had one of those big fight feels to it. The big shock came when Seth Rollins not only beat Reigns and regained the title, but he beat him clean (the first time Reigns had ever lost clean in a singles match).
However, Rollins’ reign would end as abruptly as it started and Dean Ambrose cashed in his briefcase which he won hardly an hour prior.
